Basic Winemaking Class at The Winery in Breinigsville

1-4 p.m.
$275 per person
Join Head Winemaker John Skrip III and his assistant winemakers for a three-hour, hands-on class where you’ll have the opportunity to make your own Riesling! You’ll learn the basics of the winemaking process plus tips and tricks of the trade. Each participant will receive:
– one 5-gallon carboy
– airlock and bung
– yeast
– 5 gallons of juice
At the end of class, you’ll leave with all the supplies needed to begin the fermentation process and the knowledge to complete the job. Your winemaking journey will yield approximately 20 bottles of wine.
Celebrate your completion of winemaking 101 with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine!
Participants must be 21+.

It always was a special time for John and his family, and now we look forward to sharing the Clover Hill love with you.

Clover Hill is thrilled to welcome Mozzarella di Michael for another fun- and food-filled afternoon party.
This unique three-hour event includes a welcome champagne cocktail made with Clover Hill wine and a specialty drink made with Clover Hill Spirits.
Audience participation is encouraged! Everyone will have the opportunity to get involved in a mozzarella-making lesson. You’ll learn how to use the mozzarella to create a variety of simple and delicious appetizer plates:
– Ciabatta bread sandwiches (created by you!)
– Marinated mozzarella with roasted peppers, tomatoes, pesto, artichokes, basil, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and garlic (or create your own!)
– Fresh-sliced imported sweet and hot soppressata; Prosciutto di Parma and mortadella; and dry salami
– Roasted peppers, marinated artichokes, a selection of tapenades, sun-dried tomatoes, hot peppers, banana peppers, kalamata olives, garlic olives, cherry tomato salad, baked peaches, fresh figs and strawberries
– Imported asiago and ricotta salata cheese
– Broccoli rabe, stuffed peppadews with asiago cheese, pepperoncini peppers, beet salad and ricotta, and Italian bread
