Burning of the Cuttings at The Winery in Breinigsville
Saturday, April 20

The weather is looking great, and we are excited for our new event this Saturday, April 20 from 1-4:30 p.m. at The Winery in Breinigsville!
We’re resurrecting an old winemaking practice – Burning of the Cuttings – a long-standing French tradition where the winter vineyard prunings (canes) are collected and burned. Burning the cuttings decreases the risk of spreading disease, parasites, mold and mildew in the vineyard, and adds nutrients back to the soil.
Now that the pruning is done, we’re ready for the new growing season, bud break, and vintage 2024!
We’ll celebrate on Saturday with:
– Bonfires
– Live music from Cathy Ritter from 1-4:30 p.m.
– Food from Uno Taqueria Food Truck, from 1-4:30 p.m.

– Hot dogs and s’mores kits will be available for $4 per kit. Roast them over the fire!
– Mint and Citrus Sangria by the glass and carafe

Celebrate the power of the moon and the health benefits of movement during our one-hour all-levels Full Moon Yoga class led by Vibe Power Yoga and held at The Winery in Breinigsville.
